Description

The Division of Infectious Diseases at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute is looking for a Regulatory Coordinator to provide Research Ethics Board, Health Canada, and other regulatory administrative support as required for a number of studies and trials by a number of investigators.


Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):


  • Bachelor's degree in health science or related field preferred
  • 02 years of job experience in a clinical trial environment
  • Understanding of regulatory/ethical guidelines such as TCPS2, GCP, and Health Canada.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail and knowledge of good documentation practices
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings, calls and other required information sharing forums
  • Highly motivated team player who can initiate and complete tasks independently
  • Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to changing priorities/workloads, and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Computer literacy, proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Strong understanding of study budgets
  • SoCRA/ACRP certified
  • Bilingual

Contract Details:

This is a 1-year full-time contract
