SGT-A65/A45 Product Development Manager

A Snapshot of Your Day

Program manage (budget and schedule) and deliver the product system, Sub-System, component technical solution(s), defined in agreed set of requirements
Ensure that standardised designs meet all technical and safety specifications for gas turbine and related products and that objective evidence is maintained.
Ensure that product design and engineering solutions to technical problems meet internal and customer requirements while actively managing the product risk.
Deliver a mature, validated product at Entry in Service (EIS), including first production parts, product attributes and all requirements placed on manufacture, operation, maintenance, overhaul and disposal of the product to maintain safe/reliable function
Manage engineering interfaces with both internal and external customers
Ensuring R&D teams are communicated and motivated in agreement with the strategies and policies of the Product Strategy

How You'll Make an Impact

As a senior member of the product engineering team, you'll efficiently manage R&D funds and the A65/A45 gas turbine R&D project portfolio to ensure it delivers world class profit margin, customer satisfaction, equipment reliability and revenue per MW.

What You Bring

Bachelors or Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and are a member of the "l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec"
10+ years previous experience in the design and development of gas turbines
Project Management experience in planning, controlling budgets and driving to schedules
Recognized ability at working in cross functional / geographical / cultural working environments
Proficient in both English and French

Our Gas Services division offers Lowemission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
