Laundry Lounge Ltd.

is a family owned and operated business providing commercial linen services to our clients in the greater Simcoe County area.

We are currently hiring for the position of 'Delivery Driver'.

Hours of Work (Approximately 30-44 hours/ week, depending on needs of the business)

Wage:
$22.00-$25.00/ hour depending on experience.

Duties:

Safely and efficiently transport linens to customers in our area of service
Load and unload linen bins from truck and bring to designated drop off area at customer location
Provide excellent customer service by delivering items in a timely and professional manner, and communicate with clients as needed
Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues with professionalism
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel and credit card receipts, as well as delivery times
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating a commercial vehicle
Other duties as required*
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Flexible availability for scheduling
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and loading/unloading of cargo. Must be able to maneuver heavy wheeled laundry bins exceeding 200lbs in various weather conditions, and must be able to lift 50+lbs on a regular basis.
