tentree is a lifestyle apparel company based out of Vancouver, Canada that plants ten trees for every item purchased.

By combining social and environmental consciousness with apparel, we empower our customers to have a direct impact on saving the planet through intentional purchasing.

What will you be doing?

You will leverage your programming and technical expertise to develop custom solutions that enhance website performance and improve customer experience.
You will employ best software development practices to develop welldesigned, testable, and efficient code.
You will utilize your problemsolving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while escalating complex problems to senior team members when necessary.
You will communicate effectively with team members both inside and outside of the department.

Additional Details:

Internship Dates: May 1, to August 18, 202
Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Location: Vancouver, BC with the ability to work some hours remotely
Wage: $16.00 per hour

Requirements:

You must be available to work from May 1, to August 18, 202
You must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field at an accredited college or university
You must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person who is legally able to work in Canada
You must located in Vancouver, BC
Strong knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as php, ruby, or C# including objectoriented design
Knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as objectoriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Experience with Javascript library such as Angular, React, and/or Vue is an asset
