Underwriter, CMLS Alternative Solutions

Calgary, AB; Vancouver, BC; Toronto, ON

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $75,000/yr

About the Role

This role will focus on CMLS Alternative Solutions mortgages
Perform risk analysis and complete appropriate due diligence
Find solutions to deals that don't fit traditional lending parameters
Provide support to document specialists reviewing more complex documentation
Meet quality assurance standards
Prioritize work queue to maintain service level standard
Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
Provide liaison, support and underwriting expertise to all business partners

This role is for you if:

You have demonstrated sound credit judgement with knowledge of legislation regarding risk related mortgage laws
You possess a strong customer service focus with the ability to cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
You have 25 years of residential mortgage underwriting experience in the private mortgages sector
You possess a highly positive "can do" attitude and excellent communication skills
You take ownership of your tasks by working proactively and being driven by delivering high quality outputs
You have the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively within in a fastpaced, deadline driven environment
You are excited at the prospect of working for a fastgrowing organization with the chance to grow and create a positive impact
