About the job

Responsibilities:

• Assist Montreal Branch sales and profit goals.
• Review bidding Specs and work closely with consultants, Contractors and End users.
• Submit clean and understandable quotation and provide answers to client base to questions post bid process.
• Communicates effectively with customers on new or revised proposals.
• Coordinates and implements, on a shared responsibility basis with Suppliers Customer Service departments, special warranty agreements/procedures at assigned customers.
• Recommends (to Business Units marketing and pricing department) price proposals/changes, product changes, delivery changes and other miscellaneous programs as needed to meet market/customer needs.
• Daily assistance to outside sales, engineering, site personnel or Suppliers.
• Gathers, identifies and reports customer and market information on new or prospective leads to the supervisor, if any,
• Accumulates and evaluates data on competitor's products, markets, and channel coverage and prepares reports for sales and marketing review.
• Using SAP system for quotes, reports and purchasing.

Background & Skills

Required (basic) Qualifications

• Technical qualification from an accredited institution.
• Pump understanding and experience.
• Minimum 2 years commercial, industrial, municipal sales experience.
• Fully bilingual written and oral
• French and English.
• Sales, marketing and or distributor sales experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering Degree from an accredited institution.
• 5 years on pump experience
• Pump engineering
• 5+ years commercial sales experience

Salary:
$70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
