Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing in guest rooms as well as public areas inside and outside when needed.
Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards daily.
Protect and maintain equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies for all staff to use.
Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances to ensure rooms are always in working condition.
Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience and to find to everyday situations.
Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any companyrelated practices. Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper, preferable in the hotel industry.
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
Customeroriented and friendly.
Prioritization and time management skills.
Working quickly without compromising quality.
Knowledge of English language.
Must be reliable, punctual and flexible with work days and hours.
Job entails some heavy lifting up to maybe 40 lbs, standing and bending.
Preferable one year experience in a supervisory position in a brand franchised position

This is a working position and there will be some days that it would just be cleaning of guest rooms.

Must be able to work weekends, public holidays, be flexible with hours.

Be able to supervise a staff of at least 10 persons when supervising.
