Buying Coordinator - Montréal, Canada - Browns Shoes
Description
The main responsibility of the Buying Coordinator is to assist the buyers in selecting the merchandise for all Browns/B2 stores and site.
Responsibilities:
- Sit in on "buys" (selection of merchandise) depending on the vendor and offer feedback and opinions
- Helping to maintain the buyer's budget checking and providing regular updates to the person in charge
- Send orders and follow up with vendors regarding order confirmations, deliveries, sample confirmations, etc.
- Maintain designated store contacts and communication, do weekly store visits
- Sample division & sample room maintenance
- Helping with buyer's trip preps iPad synching, labeling pictures, etc.
- P.O. creations
- Sales analysis by vendor
- Providing the buyers with end of month notes
- Coming up with ideas product, instore, events, etc.
- Website merchandising maintenance making sure all styles are online and have the correct product attributes
- Creation of "Squares" detailing and costing styles during buys
- Warehouse replenishments and occasional inventory division and stock shifts (depending on the supplier)
Requirements:
- Ability to multitask
- Problem solver
- Professional
- Excellent organization
- Cegep/ University degree is an asset
- Previous experience is an asset
- Excellent time management skills
