The Role

Univeris is embarking on a multi-year program of initiatives to transform our products and business to position us for growth in the Canadian wealth management industry.

To ensure this transformation program's success, we seek an experienced software

Product Manager to deliver new and enhanced products to market. Product Managers at Univeris bridge the gap between the business and product development to realize our corporate objectives. The role has significant interactions outside the product development team, including customers, marketing, internal stakeholders, product designers, software engineers and architects.

What you'll do:

Product Management: you will develop & maintain a Product Roadmap to ensure that we are building and delivering solutions to the right problems. This will include user research, defining requirements, preparing user stories & PRDs, maintaining a product backlog and planning for product/feature launches. You will have end-to-end responsibility for products being ideated, built, tested and released.

Delivery:you will play a key role in how we deliver products cross-functionally. This includes final approval of features in our QA process, participating in all agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retros, demos), release planning, working with Product Marketing on positioning/collateral, etc.

About You:

You have a track record of working on products in the Enterprise B2B space, ideally with experience in the Finance/FinTech industry
You have led Scrum teams through agile delivery processes; you're comfortable leading agile ceremonies, managing product management/tracking tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) and managing indirect reports from other teams
You have a proven history of being consistent and structured in managing information, documentation, agile boards and other artifacts
You can show experience digging into new, complex problems and coming up with solutions quickly

- _ Bonus_: you have experience with regulatory organizations and frameworks, such as IIROC or the MFDA.

Logistics / Work Environment:

This role can be Remote, Inoffice or Hybrid. (_Our HQ is located in downtown Toronto._)
This role will report into our CTO and will inherit and continue to build upon an existing Product Management function.
