Job Purpose and Impact


The Grain Advisory Services Regional Market Analyst will make recommendations for farm customers, grain marketing advisors and management for our MarketSense product.

In this role, you will review market trends using technical and fundamental analysis, interpret data from agricultural regulatory agencies and news sources and seek out and leverage company industry experts to formulate opinions and explanations on the behaviour of agricultural commodities markets.


This role offers a remote work opportunity in Saskatchewan or Manitoba. Key Accountabilities

Develop and communicate to the team market reports with recommendations for customer commodities marketing strategies.
Partner with the commodity teams to use best practices and increase knowledge in utilizing company commodity marketing programs.
Create and maintain complex spreadsheets, presentations and document templates.

Provide guidance and coaching to the customer facing sales team to increase the overall commodity marketing knowledge of our team and help direct the strategic account representatives use of the customer relations management system and cash commodity marketing solutions.

Develop customer commodity marketing reports, daily commentaries, video podcasts and market flashes.
Create and deliver presentations at trade shows and internal events.
Independently handle complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma/Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience analyzing futures, options and markets
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Ability to travel for business upto 50%
Possess a valid Canadian driver's licence in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the sales process or methodology
Consulting and analysis experience
Agricultural industry experience
Experience generating commodity market research content
