What we offer


In keeping with the Mattamy Mission of providing The Best Homeowner Experience, the Sustainability Compliance Coordinator provides exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders while crafting, performing and communicating data-based evaluations of Mattamy's sustainability initiatives.


What you'll do

  • Creates and maintains an internal database for model and lot specific sustainability performance metrics.
  • Drafts and distributes monthly reporting correspondences to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develops and maintains an understanding of the most current sustainability developments in the industry.
  • Coordinates and schedules Quality Assurance inspections throughout the building process.
  • Prepares and monitors reports for review by the Construction Management Team.
  • Assists in quantifying the value of Mattamy's sustainability initiatives.
  • Prepares and maintains logs for sustainability compliance team.
  • Supports sustainability related warranty service requests.
  • Assists Sustainability Manager with written correspondence to homeowners.
  • Prepares training materials and supports divisional training programs for front line teams.
  • Maintains office supplies and organizes and maintains office files.
  • Collect timesheets, prepares payroll in the HRIS system and submit to head office.

  • A minimum of 2 years office administration experience in a high volume or fast paced environment is required.
  • Experience with new home construction or other relevant experience in the residential building industry preferred.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional interpersonal / customer service skills in dealing effectively with multiple departments/vendors and homeowners.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards would be an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to independently recognize/meet deadlines in a fastpaced work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, supporting the creation of clear, compelling and memorable communications.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and proactive attitude while balancing multiple demands and working under tight timelines.
  • Selfmotivated with ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

Bonus points

  • Degree and/or Diploma in Administration or suitable combination of work experience and education.
