Our afternoon shift is looking to hire a 310T Lead Hand in our Mississauga location.
This exciting opportunity to a hands-on position that offers team collaboration opportunities.

What you'll be doing:


  • Preform repairs on customer and internal equipment as needed.
  • Supervise and coach a team of technicians to ensure safe, quality repairs to GoRight standards.
  • Conduct daily shift huddles.
  • Assign jobs to technicians based on skills and best practice times.
  • Ensure all Service Centre tooling and equipment is in safe working condition.
  • Communicate safety, productivity, and quality expectations with technicians for each job.
  • Monitor performance on each job and provide feedback to Technicians and planning team.
  • Open/close Service Centre for shift start up and shut down.
  • Communicate and prepare shift hand off information at end of each shift.
  • Ensure proper swipe in/swipe out procedures are followed.
  • Advise shunt driver on jobs in/out of Service Center and equipment to be staged.
  • Monitor jobs and escalate issues, to avoid any problems or delays proactively.
  • Monitor Technician work order times in the system to ensure accuracy.
  • Involve Parts Planner of any parts required in Service Centre.
  • Ensure warranty parts and information are captured as required.
  • Move equipment in/out of Service Centre as required.
  • Perform inbound/outbound equipment inspections as required.
  • Communicate with customers on job requirements and completion as required.
  • Other work as may be assigned.

What you bring to the table:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent with trade training.
  • Licensed 310T with strong knowledge and experience in truck repair.
  • Previous Lead Hand, Supervision or Foreman experience preferred.
  • Valid provincial driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
  • Minimum five (5) years' truck and trailer maintenance knowledge and experience.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Sound computer skills.
