Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our company's fleet operations. As the Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This is a flexible position and can be part time if needed.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the daytoday operations of the company's fleet, including vehicles and equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure all vehicles and equipment are in optimal condition
  • Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to schedule repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Oversee the procurement of new vehicles and equipment as needed
  • Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to improve fuel efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement training programs for drivers and operators
  • Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment

Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment used in fleet operations
  • Familiarity with dealership operations and procedures
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
