Working closely with a busy Finance team, we have a new opportunity for a
Personnel and Payroll Administrator in our Lower Mainland (Vancouver and Burnaby) offices.

This is a dynamic position requiring exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus in customer service.

The Personnel Services team is responsible for North America operations end-to-end process of people records and employee transactions including: master data maintenance of personnel records within Oracle, timecard administration, supplier record maintenance, purchase requisition creation and ongoing maintenance.

This position also works closely with our Payroll team and supports the administration and processing of payroll.


About the role

  • Responsible for the setup and maintenance of all people records in North America including new hires, separations and changes.
  • Set up and maintain supplier records in Oracle database.
  • Provide support to employees for timecard entry and changes.
  • Weekly timecard processing.
  • Data entry and biweekly monitoring of purchase orders.
  • Provide support to payroll regarding employee timesheet entry and adjustments.
  • Assist with payroll processing, as required during peak busy periods.
  • Other adhoc tasks as required by the Finance team.

About you

  • 23 years' administrative (including dataentry) experience in a fastpaced, deadline driven, human resources, payroll, or finance environment.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel; experience with Oracle Financials or large ERP is an asset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy required.
  • The ability to grasp new concepts and learn quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle large volumes of work accurately and efficiently.
  • The ability to interact effectively in a team or independently is also necessary.
  • Committed to excellence in customer service.
  • Ability to communicate thoughtfully, influentially, and collaboratively.
  • Payroll experience and/or education is an asset.

Salary range:
$55,000 - $59,000 annually.
