_dynamic, hard-working, and creative person _to join the team as a
Marketing Coordinator.

With the company's various divisions and experienced crews, Horizon Landscape Contractors is uniquely qualified to handle any job in the landscape industry, servicing both the Lower Mainland & Sea to Sky Corridor.


Working directly with the Chief Growth Officer the Marketing Coordinator will execute implementation of marketing and communication activities while supporting exciting marketing initiatives.

With an eye for details, adaptability and innovation, the Marketing Coordinator performs various initiatives related to external communication, branding and project management, promotions, social media management, strategic marketing planning and related business development initiatives.


You will be accountable for:


  • Delivery and development of communication and marketing strategies company wide
  • Execution of internal and external communication related to marketing initiatives
  • Development of effective content to drive value to target audience
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives are in strategic alignment with Branding Asset Playbook
  • Oversee and manage social media content (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google)
  • Prepare content development (images, blog post, news, events, etc.) for external audience
  • Development and maintenance of graphic design projects (company marketing materials, signages, etc.)
  • Development and management of press releases and other related marketing communication
  • Other marketing duties as required

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Post-secondary education in the field of Marketing and Communications or equivalent
  • Driver's License minimum class 7/N
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
  • Experience working in construction industry, an asset
  • Experience with digital content and social media management platforms
  • Experience with video editing software
  • Project management experience and copywriting
  • Experience with Canva, Photoshop, Mailchimp, and other related graphic design software
