Reports to the Parking Services Manager

Primary Function
Issue and monitor cash bags, cash floats and parking passes.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Prepare ticket seller cash bags including return sheet, cash float and hard tickets
  • Issue and replenish Foreperson & Lead Hand cash floats.
  • Record and balance interim and final cash deposits from ticket sellers during the operational day.
  • Receive, record, and balance daily sales transactions and prepare daily sales reports.
  • Prepare and record bank deposits and cash deposits for armored pickup.
  • Review, verify and balance cash floats and hard tickets.
  • Liaise with Lead Hand, Ticket Seller and Coordinator as required to meet show operational needs.
  • Maintain and distribute all parking passes for authorized personnel.
  • Prepare and maintain work orders, purchase requisition and cheque requests.
  • Initiate billing advice slips and maintain filing system for various trade shows.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Several years' experience in cash handling/balancing cash accounts.
  • Experience utilizing software packages (word processing, spreadsheets and electronic mail).
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work days, evenings and weekends including holidays, as required supporting operational requirements.
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices.
