Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5PM

As a Shunt Driver you'll be moving semi-trailers and various other pieces of equipment within the yard and workshop bays.

As a Shunt Driver in our Winnipeg branch, you'll be performing the following duties:

  • Movement of semi-trailers and other various equipment around the yard.
  • Welcoming customers and ensure vehicles are correctly positioned for service.
  • Conducting asneeded pretrip inspections.
  • Assisting technicians and maintaining shop cleanliness.
  • Conducting return inspections when necessary.
  • Performing inventory checks in the yard.
To be successful you'll need to have the following skills and abilities:

  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License and clear Driver's Abstract.
  • Experience operating Capacity or Ottawa style shunt trucks (asset).
  • 1 year of shunt driving experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, with demonstrated patience and the ability to work effectively in highpressure situations.
  • Solid organizational capabilities and ability to complete multiple tasks.
