Manager, Membership & Group Sales, Vancouver Warriors


Department:

Reports to:
Senior Director, Ticket Sales & Membership Experience

***: The Manager, Membership & Group Sales is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic plans and supporting tactical and operational plans for the sale of all ticket products for the Vancouver Warriors.

***This role will focus on:

  • Providing leadership to the membership and group sales teams
  • Developing and implementing training program for the sales team, working closely with senior sales executives
  • Developing and executing all Vancouver Warriors sales campaigns to include full season, partial season, suites, group tickets, and single game tickets
  • Building on existing relationships with major clients and group leaders in the lacrosse community
  • Cultivating and developing new relationships with group ticket and season ticket membership sales prospects
  • Coaching, leading, and mentoring the sales department towards hitting the overall ticket sales budget
  • Providing regular outbound sales activity reports to Senior Director, Ticket Sales & Membership Experience
  • Contributing to the overall strategies for annual business planning within the sales department
  • Working closely with all members of the sales team to develop and implement sales and service excellence initiatives

YOU HAVE:


  • Minimum of two years' leadership experience in a high energy sales and service environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing highly effective sales strategies without losing focus on service
  • Actionoriented personality and a high degree of initiative and known to have the knack for getting things done
  • Commitment to a vision of service that will thrill fans and provide an ultimate fan experience
  • Exceptional customer service acumen and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build, motivate, and lead teams
  • Superior communication, conflict resolution skills, with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, clientele, suppliers, and partners
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle conflicting deadlines and prioritize
  • Extensive computer knowledge, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:

  • Experience with Archtics and Ticketmaster technology
