Description

Yard Workers with Can-Traffic support the daily maintenance and construction activities by ensuring crews have the equipment and supplies needed for projects involving streetlights, traffic signals, pedestrian crossovers, and other projects.

To thrive in this role you must be someone who can juggle projects, demands, and timelines - and doesn't get overwhelmed doing so.

You will be responsible for the movement of materials and ensuring products are stored and distributed correctly and efficiently, and that all safety regulations are followed.

Responsibilities

Accurately pick orders, verifying quantities and product picked prior to packing and loading
Assist crews with loading product onto trucks
Replenish inventory by putting away product, condensing product locations, and performing location maintenance on products
Assist other areas such as Receiving, Shipping, Yard Coordination when order picking duties are complete
Perform other activities as directed by the supervisor

Ability to be adaptable, manage multiple priorities and work in a fastpaced environment
Ability to follow written and verbal directions, and to maintain concentration and alertness for extended periods
Demonstrated organization skills
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines with flexibility, and multitask with mínimal direction
