Human Resources Intern (Summer Student)

Term:

May to September 2023

Primary Function:

Assist the Human Resources department with daily operations and workload. Being a point-of-contact for HR appointments and employee direction.

Shadowing and assisting members of the HR department to gain the knowledge and understanding of the different areas of scope.

Working Procedure:

Scanning and filing of HR and employee related documents
Setting appointments and directing employee inquires to the appropriate Point of Contact
Onboarding and orientating newjoiners
Take meeting minutes and detailed notes
Assist in various aspects of recruitment such as screening, interviewing, and selecting
Submit tickets and cases for various scenarios to HR Global Services
Assist with the creation and monitoring of Alstom policies and procedures
Maintenance of employee files
Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Pursuing a Post-Secondary education in Business at a College or University, Majoring in Human Resources.
