HDR is seeking a
Transportation Equity Consultant to manage, pursue, and support projects across the Transportation Business Group in Canada.
While this individual will be a member of the HDR Transit Market Sector team they will provide cross-sector services to all business groups and will prepare and direct the work of others to complete planning studies, reports, and other documentation.
Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Transportation Equity Consultant, we'll count on you to:
- Perform research, write reports, and prepare graphics/presentations.
- Conduct extensive agency coordination, planning, programming, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Support and lead project pursuits; and prepare proposals, scopes, and fees.
- Coordinate project staff and workload management on projects on an asneeded basis.
- Implement QA/QC procedures and be responsible for the overall quality of project deliverables.
- Deliver projects successfully as it relates to schedule and budget. Also, represent client's interests in a competent and professional manner to public officials, citizen groups, and other necessary stakeholders.
- Provide leadership in the implementation of equity metrics on transportation infrastructure projects
- Actively develop materials (frameworks, tools, documentation) that support the implementation of equity in transportation infrastructure projects
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in a related discipline or field
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
- 10+ years of experience in a related discipline or field with 5+ years of experience related to transportation, transit, and equity
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and personnel
- Advanced business development skills
- Demonstrated ability to relate well to clients
- Demonstrated presentation skills
