Summary:

**_Qualifications:
- **- _Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology or related biological science. _
- _Graduation with Diploma of Technology and one year directly related experience and certification with the Canadian Board of Registration of E.E.G technologist (CBRET) or equivalent combination of education training and experience. _
- _Understanding of neuromuscular anatomy and physiology, electrophysiological equipment and electronic principles. _
- _Literacy with computers utilized as a component of the diagnostics equipment in the laboratory. _
- _Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically both verbally and/or written with all members of the health care team, the patient and his/her family. _
- _ABRET or CBRET registration required _
- _Dual Registration (BRETC and CBRET) an asset _
- _Preference will be given to Dual Trained Technologist _
- _Must have initiative and good judgment. _
- _A preference of 2 years of active experience performing EEG studies _
- _Knowledge of infection control principles and practices. _
- _Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple and changing demands that require attention to detail in a high volume environment. _
- _Demonstrated ability to work in a highly organized manner. _
- _Demonstrated ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as a member of an interdisciplinary team. _
- _Basic Cardiac Life Support provider as certified by the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation _
