The Administrative Coordinator role will provide a chance to work within a growing section of the First Nations Health Authority with many opportunities for relationship building across the organization.

West Vancouver (Remote working is an option in line with FNHA's homeworking policy - minimum 50% in the office).


About the role
As the Administrative Coordinator, you will support the Public Health Response team with a focus on Health Emergency Management.

This role provides administration, coordination, facilitation, office management support, and technical support for the team and its initiatives and projects that advance the mandate and interests of the FNHA.

This role also participates in the development and implementation of plans, systems, processes and procedures essential for effective and efficient operations.


About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A certificate in business/office administration or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience
  • Relevant, recent and significant experience in an administrative capacity, including provisions of services to senior level staff processes (normally acquired over a period of 35 years)
  • Experience working with BC First Nations communities and/or organizations
  • Experience utilizing a variety of office tools including Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint
