We are looking for motivated people that will strengthen the team and continue to grow long-term within our Company.

Duties:

Assemblers perform some or all of the following duties:

Read shop drawings and blueprints
Estimate and gather materials required for fabrication
Select and verify quality wood to meet specifications.
Operate woodworking machines
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape and form materials
Trim and/or mitre joints and fit parts together to form complete unit using glue and clamps and reinforce joints
Build and assemble custom wood products
Shape and cut materials to specified measurements
Sanding wooden surfaces, as needed
Measure materials
Report daily log in times to track job costing
Evaluate materials for defects, quality control

Requirements:

Experience in Cabinet Making, Assembly or Finish Carpentry
Completion of Woodworking Program, or Red Seal, is considered a strong asset, but not mandatory
Ability to read and interpret Shop Drawings
Proven ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
Comprehensive understanding of various wood materials such as melamine, particleboard, plastic laminates, veneer and/ or solid wood
Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

OPPORTUNITIES FOR OVERTIME (if desired) Our Company compensates Overtime for all hours that exceed 40 hours weekly If desired, up to 60 hours per week is available

Shift: 7:00am OR 7:30am - 4:00pm OR Overtime until 6:00pm

Optional Overtime on Saturdays (half day)
