The Coeur Silvertip mine located in British Columbia, just 10 miles south of the Yukon border is seeking an underground
Miner 2 to work in a camp based environment rotating on a 2 week on and 2 week off schedule.

Job Duties:

Manual installation of various ground support materials including Resin/Rebar, Swellex and Split sets with Jackleg/Stoper, and Sandvik DS411C Robolter.
Perform preoperational checks, and ensure equipment according to Safe Operating Procedure.
Monitor equipment and processes and ensure equipment deficiencies and operations issues are reported clearly.
Complete Operations Report Sheets and Daily Log Books.
Assist with other activities involved in the mining cycle.
Ensure all policies and procedures in relation to safety and production are followed.
Solid work ethics, regular attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude, are essential requirements for this position.

Position Requirements:

Minimum five (5) years experience in a mechanized cut and fill mining operation.
Ability to operate Sandvik DS411C Robolter and previous Jackleg/Stoper experience considered an asset.
Familiar with 6, 7, and 8 yard Sandvik/Cat Scooptrams and Sandvik 30 tonne/Cat 45 tonne haul truck.
Experienced in installing services (air, water, vent, and fans).
Knowledge of ground support systems.
BC underground blasting ticket considered an asset.
BC underground Shift Boss ticket considered an asset.
First aid ticket an asset.
Physically fit to perform the duties of the position.
Mining, Oil and Gas or Heavy Industrial experience is preferred.
Strong problemsolving, teamwork and ability to develop and foster strong working relationships.
Strong sense of integrity, ethics and desire to positively impact the environment.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Ability to work with a diverse crosscultural workforce.
