Job Location:
Mississauga, ON

Shifts Available and Hours:
Overnight (11:00pm to 7:00am), Day (7:00am to 3:00pm)

Evening (3:00pm to 11:00pm)

New employees have to expect to work on different shifts, depending on the production needs.

Hourly wage:
$18.60

Responsibilities:

Operate various equipment (mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers and hand tools)
Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper safety devices are in place and notify supervision of any concerns
Perform basic set up on equipment
Read and interpret various gauging equipment, ranging from digital calipers, micrometers, protractors and custom gauges
Maintain all records on hob assignments in a correct and timely manner on paper as well as in the computer
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required

Competencies:

Understanding of safety, quality and production processes

Preferred Experience:

1 year Manufacturing experience a plus
