    Description
    Work Details:
    - Work Term: Permanent
    - Work Language: English
    - Hours: 33 hours per week
    - Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
    - Experience: 1 to 7 months

    Work Environment


    - Group home

    Responsibilities


    - Prepare reports or case histories
    - Evaluate clients' needs and eligibility for specific services
    - Handle administrative tasks
    - Conduct life skills workshops
    - Communicate with inmates' families and community contacts
    - Assess clients' skill strengths and development needs
    - Resolve conflicts
    - Supervise clients living in group homes and half-way houses
    - Implement behavior management programs
    - Coordinate with social services agencies and healthcare providers
    - Assist in assessing treatment program effectiveness
    - Support clients with special needs
    - Accompany clients to appointments and social events

    Certificates, Licensing, and Training:


    - Developmental services worker (DSW) Training
    - Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
    - First Aid Certificate
    - CPR Certificate
