Description

The Lead Audio Visual Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of advanced, small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

Accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment.
Troubleshooting technical issues and resolving problems quickly as they arise.
Ensuring equipment is secure from theft and/or damage when in use.
Collaborating and working closely with the Manager of Event Technology.
Providing excellent service and striving to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
Leading, mentoring and coaching other Technicians on ENCORE's Delivering World Class Service philosophy.
Meeting with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met and the equipment setup is working properly.
Monitoring events and checks in on customers throughout the day.
Understanding the technical aspects of the job and demonstrating advanced operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues.
Anticipating equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.
Using the equipment sheets to determine the equipment scheduled for set up and for strike.

Desired Qualifications:

High school diploma required, associate degree is preferred.
2 years of customer service or hospitality experience.
23+ years of audiovisual experience is required in hotel industry.

Terms of Employment:

This is a fulltime position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday including days, evenings and weekends.
Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
