MAIN DUTIES

Logistics Coordinator is responsible for:

Coordinate and plan with department peers to effectively and efficiently dispatch the company's resources
Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers
Handle customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner
Analyze resource utilization and generate reports as needed

Acting as backup driver if needed:

Scheduling the truck maintenance and ensure all the equipment's are well maintained.
Directing activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking of transportation trucks
Monitor company's or department's performance, prepare reports for senior management, and plan for changes to schedules and policies
Collaborating with staff members to formulate and implement transportationrelated procedures as well as company revenue goals and customer service objectives.
Develop strategies for growth of the transport business.
Complying with transportationrelated policies, as well as safety rules, and government regulations.

HEALTH & SAFETY COMPLIANCE

Educational / Professional Development / Work Experience Requirements

An experience as a transportation/logistics coordinator/specialist in a similar industry.
Solid knowledge of the transportation industry and logistics.
Experience working with transportationrelated government regulations.
Critical thinking skills and knowledge of analytics.
Ability to work well with team members and navigate stressful situations.
Excellent leadership skills.
Good conflict resolution skills.
