MAIN DUTIES
Logistics Coordinator is responsible for:
- Coordinate and plan with department peers to effectively and efficiently dispatch the company's resources
- Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers
- Handle customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Analyze resource utilization and generate reports as needed
Acting as backup driver if needed:
- Scheduling the truck maintenance and ensure all the equipment's are well maintained.
- Directing activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking of transportation trucks
- Monitor company's or department's performance, prepare reports for senior management, and plan for changes to schedules and policies
- Collaborating with staff members to formulate and implement transportationrelated procedures as well as company revenue goals and customer service objectives.
- Develop strategies for growth of the transport business.
- Complying with transportationrelated policies, as well as safety rules, and government regulations.
HEALTH & SAFETY COMPLIANCE
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Regulations.
- Training required: WHMIS
- Promote safe workplace practices and prevent workplace accidents.
- Follows SteriPro Safety Rules.
Educational / Professional Development / Work Experience Requirements
- An experience as a transportation/logistics coordinator/specialist in a similar industry.
- Solid knowledge of the transportation industry and logistics.
- Experience working with transportationrelated government regulations.
- Critical thinking skills and knowledge of analytics.
- Ability to work well with team members and navigate stressful situations.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Good conflict resolution skills.
Job Type:
Part-time
Salary:
$23.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- logistics: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- A valid driver's license (DZ) (preferred)
