Who are you?


To support us in achieving our ambitious corporate objectives, we are seeking an expert in Enterprise Content & Document Management (ECM) who can significantly contribute to enabling our vision of a process-optimized, data-driven enterprise.

Given that Svante is early in its growth stage, this is an excellent opportunity for the right person to come in on the ground floor and implement the ideal tools, processes, standards, and technologies for end-to-end management of all types of documentation and content.


In addition, you will become our resident expert in newer ECM trends such as AI-driven content recognition, machine learning-assisted tagging and classification, Intelligent Contract Management, and others.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as Product Owner of various Enterprise Content & Document Management (ECM) services.
  • Serve as a champion of the enduser; always striving to bring the best possible User Experience to our staff engaged in anything document or content related.
  • Work closely with Svante business experts and the Enterprise Architect to develop and maintain a roadmap that outlines shortterm and longerterm objectives for ECM.
  • Define, lead, and communicate Svante's ECM strategies, plans, and roadmaps; and play a key role in delivering approved ECM initiatives.
  • Work with the Quality Management team to bring best practices to life for achieving and maintaining ISO 9001 compliance, including implementing solutions for documentcentric processes such as nonconformance, corrective & preventative actions, vendor prequalification, departmental policies, work procedures, etc.
  • Provide leadership, best practices, policies, and solutions to support document collaboration practices related to multicompany joint ventures, alliances, and partnerships.
  • Produce and maintain a catalog of all Svante's document types, document classifications, and taxonomies to support future automation, standardization, and compliance.
  • Significantly increase the use of metadata (rather than folders) to aid in file searching, permissions management, and workflow automation.
  • Understand stakeholders' use of documentrelated services, such as local file shares, CSV file drops, SharePoint lists and the like; and determine longerterm, more sustainable solutions where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with domain experts to define standards for engineering document numbering, project document control, sensitivity labeling, and other areas related to Document Governance as a whole.
  • Educate all staff on ECM related policies, best practices, roadmaps, tools, and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing ECM processes by means of better technology, governance, workflows, or combination thereof.
  • Take a lead role in executing innovative pilots and proofsofconcept related to new and emerging ECM technologies.

Key Qualifications:


  • At least 5 years relevant experience which includes a combination of ECM operations and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct business analysis with a wide range of stakeholders and across a broad range of disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of SharePoint Online and modern SPO architecture and associated features, best practices, strengths, and weakness.
  • Understanding of and experience with the SPFx framework, PnP provisioning and use of Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps for delivering SPObased ECM solutions will be an asset, as is knowledge of Microsoft 365 IRM, Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Records Management, and Compliance solutions.
  • Experience developing standards and policies for digital rights management, data loss prevention, document retention and disposition, and access management.
  • Good understanding of related technologies to aid in document workflow automation and integration, such as MFT, CMIS, SFTP, EDI, and RESTful APIs.
  • Enthusiastic willingness to learn new ECM technologies
