Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Day Porter to join our team.

The Day Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.

Good communication skills are a must. We are looking for someone for a 10:30am-2:30pm shift (4hrs).

Duties:

Catering clean up.
Loading and unloading dishwashers.
Folding and distributing towels to all quiet rooms once a week.
Stocking meeting room mugs and glasses.
Cleaning/wiping down meeting rooms, including coasters, tables, windowsills, and all counters.
Cleaning fingerprints from glass doors.
Collecting and redistributing dishes to floors as needed.
Occasionally cleaning fridges & dishwashers in the Servery.
Basic cleaning around the garbage/recycle bins in the Servery.
Help with the new space (1515 Douglas) once it is up and running, dishwashers, microwaves, wiping tables, and catering clean up.
Periodic tidying up of the supply rooms on each floor.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance
Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
Good communication skills to interact with staff and visitors effectively
