Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Forklift lift experience is considered an asset
- Capable of working well under pressure with multiple projects and timelines
- Ability to lift, bend and stand for the duration of the shift
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Knowledgeable about Microsoft Office programs
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Facilities Manager with upgrades and repairs where feasible
- Assist with all warehouse cleaning duties
- Transport tools, materials, recycling, and other items as required
- Conduct facility work/repairs to building & equipment as required
- Attend walkthroughs for vendors and contractors completing work onsite
- Participate in meetings and inspections as required
- Respond to emergencies at the facilities and assist others with safety procedures
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and procedures
- Attend to and clean up any spills in the warehouse as required
- Assist in ensuring preventative maintenance on the building and equipment is carried out as required
- Ensure overall cleanliness of the warehouse and exterior of the building is maintained
- Support operations team with warehouse maintenance requests and various other requests for assistance
- Maintain a log of maintenance activities performed within the warehouse
- Assist operations with the organization and disposal of pallets
