Responsibilities:

Strategy, Planning and Leadership

Work closely with the CEO to develop and implement strategic plans to meet the company's business objectives;
Research and recommend business development events to increase revenue and brand recognition. Possibility of traveling to coffee growing regions to source coffee beans directly from farmers;
Evaluate productivity and performance, and implement strategies for improvement;
Lead the team to be effective and efficient whiles focusing on service and product quality;
Training, coaching, and conducting performance reviews for staff and lower-level managers;
Management, Finance and Operations

Day-to-day shift management;
Barista duties - preparing specialty coffee drinks for customers and training staff to prepare based on the company's recipe;
Creatively introducing new speciality coffee drink recipes and food items for the cafe;
Establish Health & Safety policy and procedures and ensure all employees adhere;
Work closely with the CEO to address any potential strategic, tactical and operating issues;
Set and oversee overall company's operating budget, review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and process improvement;
Lead strategic, financial decision-making, ensure that inventory, purchase order, and accounting systems are accurately maintained, and close the books monthly;
Develop systems and processes to optimize operational efficiency and boost revenue;


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
