Description

Waste Control Services is currently looking to add a full-time Front Load Driver to our fast paced, energetic, and passionate service team.

We are searching for a Class 3 Driver (air endorsement required). This position will work in our Coquitlam facility, various shifts available.

Responsibilities:

Strong verbal communication skills (verbal & written)
Strong knowledge of Metro Vancouver roadways a definite asset
Ability to perform very physically demanding job (pushing and pulling hundreds of pound bins 6080 times/daily)
Perform daily Pre & Post trip inspections
Other duties as assigned

To be Successful:

Class 3 License with Air Brakes Endorsement
Class 1 License is preferred.
Two years of experience in the waste management industry is preferred.
Ability to work in a diverse and evolving group dynamic.
Ability to work in a demanding environment, while maintaining a positive and respectful work atmosphere with the other employees.
Ability to work with little to no supervisions at times with the added expectation to work in a team environment

5X8, Wednesday to Sunday Wednesday to Friday 4:30am to 1:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 6:30am to 3:30pm.
5X8, Tuesday to Saturday Tuesday to Friday 4:30am to 1:00pm, Saturday 6:30am to 3:30.
5X8, Monday to Friday Monday to Friday 5:00am to 1:30pm.
