What you will do:
The International Development Project Lead will primarily contribute to functions of International Development Institute's (IDI's) business development mandate within the International Office, and provides support for identifying project opportunities, coordinating internal processes and relationships, supporting project implementation and organising knowledge sharing events.
What you bring to the role:
Education
- Specialized undergraduate degree in International Development, or a related field
- Training in the project cycle management of international development opportunities
Experience & Skills
- Experience with international development in a post secondary environment to support in developing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external clients, including Humber staff, faculty members, and international partners
- Experience in international development project management to generate project and training leads for business development
- Experience working with students and community partners to plan and organize events locally
- Knowledge of ID financial reporting requirements to manage the financials of projects and liaison with central finance
