Here's how a Human Resources Coordinator for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:


Responsibilities:


  • Collects, analyzes, and identifies trends in sectorwide HR data monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Conducts ad hoc reporting to provide valuable insights to support datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Supports the implementation and maintenance of sectorwide HR initiatives, such as succession planning, student scholarships, mentorship programs, compensation analysis and review, and other essential HR programs.
  • Creates, edits, and maintains HR documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office.
  • Assists with special projects to improve existing HR programs and support new initiatives development.
  • Conducts research on industry best practices, HR trends, and other relevant topics.

Qualifications:


  • 4 plus years of experience in strategic HR coordination or a similar role.
  • Completion of Postsecondary education in Human Resources or related fields.
  • Pursuing or obtaining a Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is preferred.
  • Experience supporting HR initiatives, projects and other change management activities.
  • Knowledge of HR principles and practices.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written communication skills for drafting and editing HR documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with sectorwide goals.
