Who We Are:
We are a non-profit organization centered in Nova Scotia that assists and advocates for persons with a disability.

SSG strives to provide the supports necessary for members to live in the community, maintain personal choice and control, and enhance their quality of life.

What We Are looking For:

A caring, respectful individual who is

Looking to develop strong relationships with the members they are supporting
Looking to nurture the member's confidence and independence to allow them to participate fully in our community
Able to provide personal care and assist members with aspects of daily living such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, bathing, and grocery shopping
Interested in planning leisure and recreational activities for members
Flexible with working a variety of shifts such as morning, afternoon, overnight, & weekend shifts

Requirements:

Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate
Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
Weekend availability

Salary:

Salary would be $20.58/hr.* if part time and trained, and $22.45/hr.* if fulltime and trained, and all employees need to be fully trained (7 core competencies) in order to be considered parttime or fulltime.
