Responsibilities

  • Maintaining fully uptodate knowledge about frequently changing and updated policies and programs.
  • Tracking and updating all accounts including outstanding accounts.
  • Submitting daily reports, weekly reports and monthly progress reports to the Director of the Adult and Youth Enrichment Center.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and document security.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Director, Assistant Director and accounts receivable.

Qualifications

  • This position requires a minimum formal education of a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant administrative work experience, preferably in a postsecondary customer service, registration, or financial services environment.
  • Experience with fullcycle accounting duties.
  • Knowledge of and experience with DSO, Passport funding, Bookkeeping and financial reporting

Job Type:
Part-time
(up to 30 hours/week)


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • College Diploma in Accounting
  • 3rd Year Accounting Students eligible

Experience:


  • Postsecondary
Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

  • Accounting: 2 year (preferred)

Salary:
$24.00-$30.00 per hour
