Knight Archer Insurance (KAI) is looking to fill a full-time
IT and Technical Support position based in our Regina offices.

A Day in the Life:


  • Providing accurate and timely responses to client issues.
  • Ensuring all requests are tracked and maintained accurately in the ticket management system.
  • Accurately prioritize support requests; identify technical and presales requests that require escalation.
  • Providing support for incidents and requests, execute planned projects, and provide ongoing maintenance to server and network environments.
  • Providing project support and assistance to team members.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in processes and procedures and offering solutions where possible.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software.

What You Bring to KAI:


  • Experience using a content management system (CMS).
  • Exceptional communication and conflict management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities that allow you to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and research skills troubleshooting and problem solving/finding solutions are skills you need accomplish independently
  • Familiarity with the following technologies: Networking including Switches, Routers, Servers, Cables, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, Latency, VoIP, QoS, Windows, exchange, vmware, citrix, backup exec, outlook, active directory would be an asset.
  • Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong sense of personal ethics and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and Experience:


  • 23 years in an IT Support, IT Service Analyst, IT Helpdesk, or similar position(s).
  • Willing to train the right person.
  • Minimum grade 12 diploma, with bonus points for postsecondary work that is related to the position (office education, administration, etc.)
  • Experience working in an office environment is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Bonus points for additional certifications relating to any of the software mentioned or having a Computer Science or IT background.
