Shipper/Receiver (evening shift, seasonal)

As a Shipper/Receiver, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations.

Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading various products, operating forklifts in a safe and responsible manner, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and performing regular inspections and maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare orders according to shipping orders, maximizing loading space and complying with transportation laws and regulations.
Load and unload trucks.
Communicate all relevant information concerning receiving/shipping in a timely manner.
Identify and control incoming merchandise according to delivery notes.
Keep inventory up to date; perform cyclical counts as required.
Ensure proper stock rotation.
Perform daily forklift inspection.
Handle lifting equipment and drive forklift trucks safely.

Qualifications:

High school diploma
3 to 5 years' experience driving forklifts.
Good sense of organization and responsibility; able to prioritize tasks with attention to detail
