Trans Tank Systems is an assembly and service facility specializing in tanker trucks for the petroleum, water, and aviation markets.

We are currently seeking a meter & calibration technician.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Knowledge and experience using Measurement Canada's ORA online reporting system.
  • Strong attention to detail abilities.
  • Competent mathematical skills.
  • Selfmotivated and confident in their abilities.
  • Experience with pumping and metering systems on tanker trucks.

Job Details:


  • The opportunity for overtime and working weekends will also be provided.
  • Trans Tank offers competitive wages and a benefits package after a 3month probation period.
  • Regular weekday hours are 7:304:30 Monday to Thursday and 7:304:00 on Fridays.
  • Salary from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:


  • Calibration of truckmounted meters & registers to Weights & Measures standards and specifications.
  • Installing and repairing pumps, meters, registers, and other mechanical components on new, remounted, and inservice tank trucks.
  • Disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and maintenance of pumps, meters, registers, hose reels, hydraulic components, etc.
  • Other duties as required.
