Your mandate


As an Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) Administrator you will provide advice to various levels of CBC management and staff in responding to requests made under the ATIP Acts.


This is a temporary role for a period of 1 year.

You possess:


  • A thorough knowledge of Access to Information and Privacy Acts and other related legislation, regulations and policies.
  • 6 months to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written is preferred but not essential.
  • University degree or training in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Indepth knowledge of various computer programs, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access ProCase Management, AccessPro Redaction, Internet, Intranet and electronic mail.
  • Diplomacy, tact and persuasion.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Planning and negotiation skills.
