1 (One) - Permanent Full Time


DIETITIAN
For the Community of La Ronge

(This is a re-advertisement. Previous applicants need not apply)


Duties:

Provide assessments of client health needs and diet;
Counsel clients on nutrition and healthy eating habits;
Develop meal plans;
Provide on-going evaluation of the effects of meal plans and making changes as needed;
Develop and deliver education sessions on topics related to food and nutrition;
Deliver and facilitate nutritional programs;
Provide written reports to document client progress;
Other duties as assigned by supervisor &/or designate;


Qualifications:

Degree in Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, Food Systems Management, Clinical Nutrition or related field;
Must be registered (or eligible for registration) with the Saskatchewan Dietetic Association and/or the Dietitians of Canada
Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, public relations and problem solving skills;
Strong computer and research skills;
Ability to work with mínimal supervision;
Ability to speak/understand Cree is a definite asset;
Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset;
Must have a Valid Class 5 Driver's License and the ability to travel;
Current Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening and Driver's Abstract required upon hire.
