Outbound Sales Representative - Surrey, Canada - Texcan
Description
This position is an inside sales role involving a significant amount of cold-calling potential B2B customersRequired Qualifications:
- A minimum of 34 year of sales experience.
- A background in selling industrial and commercial products is an asset. Product knowledge or industry experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of solution selling vs. price.
- The role includes a strong understanding of sales margins, product sourcing, pricing and negotiations.
- Strong business acumen and professional approach to offering effective services and solutions.
- Post-Secondary courses in Sales and/or Marketing preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- CRM experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential upselling.
- Responding to and processing incoming calls and orders.
- Opening new accounts.
- Developing customer base and sales leads by making cold and warm calls.
- Entering orders into system.
- Maintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new products.
- Providing pricing quotations and followup on quotes.
- Credits/Debits.
- Returns as required.
- Providing technical support on products.
- Provide quotations and product information.
- Troubleshooting [freight problems, expediting, etc ].
- Responding to inquiries.
- Identify, develop, and close business opportunities.
