This position is an inside sales role involving a significant amount of cold-calling potential B2B customers

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 34 year of sales experience.
A background in selling industrial and commercial products is an asset. Product knowledge or industry experience preferred.
Strong understanding of solution selling vs. price.
The role includes a strong understanding of sales margins, product sourcing, pricing and negotiations.
Strong business acumen and professional approach to offering effective services and solutions.
Post-Secondary courses in Sales and/or Marketing preferred.
High School Diploma required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
CRM experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential upselling.
Responding to and processing incoming calls and orders.
Opening new accounts.
Developing customer base and sales leads by making cold and warm calls.
Entering orders into system.
Maintaining knowledge base on current products and learning about new products.
Providing pricing quotations and followup on quotes.
Credits/Debits.
Returns as required.
Providing technical support on products.
Provide quotations and product information.
Troubleshooting [freight problems, expediting, etc ].
Responding to inquiries.
Identify, develop, and close business opportunities.
