Lead, Global Security - HR Application Security Solutions


What is the opportunity?


The HR Application Security Solutions team is a critical component to access data and tools to support day to day activities for all employees.

The HR Application Security Solutions provides guidance and expertise for system security best practices and ensures appropriate access is provided to authorized users supporting the protection of personal information.

From strategy to execution, you'll have the career-defining opportunity to play an integral role in supporting the access management processes and driving technical solutions for one of the country's largest employers.

This role has to the potential to be remote based.


What will you do?

  • Play a role in the design of Security in Workday, understanding the implications on the broader enterprise technology landscape
  • Be the intermediary between HR and Cross Functional Teams
  • Be accountable for the daily oversight of the intake access request process, including issues and escalations
  • Identify and assess business requirements; participate in system changes, provide support and lead internal initiatives and projects
  • Provide guidance and expertise for system security best practices and risk management
  • Demonstrate accountability to achieve enablement of access by ensuring compliance of security framework and segregation of duties in conjunction of established policies and procedures
  • Develop reports for management on KPIs to improve the process effectiveness, efficiency, and data accuracy in support of metrics reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives or activities, and effectively make judgments in prioritizing and time allocation in an ever changing environment

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Postsecondary diploma or degree in a businessrelated discipline (Human Resources preferred)
  • 35 years of related Human Resources experience within a corporate HR environment
  • 3+ years' experience with Workday Security or other module(s) and reporting tools considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and risk management
  • Excellent attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem solving, collaboration and consultation skills to pull on various parts of RBC to achieve project outcomes
  • Nicetohave knowledge of process improvement and other methodologies (e.g. LSS, Agile, JIRA)
  • Experience in Application Security and HR project management
