Description

Battlefield Equipment Rentals has an immediate opening for an Account Manager (Sales rep), operating out of our Bradford branch. This store is a constantly busy, growing facility, operating with a goal-oriented and customer-driven team.

The Account Manager operates as the direct liaison between our branches and our customers, and is a crucial position in developing and maintaining the relationships that are required to grow our business.

Key Qualifications

The ability to provide excellent customer relations while keeping a positive attitude;
Previous experience in a related field, and knowledge of construction equipment and building products;
Attention to detail and effective paperwork organization;
A selfstarter, with a keen sense of timemanagement and effective planning skills;
Good communication and people skills, and the desire to work effectively within a team environment;
Ability to cater to customer schedules, afterhour events and emergencies, as well as oncall schedules;
Familiarity with the territory and willingness to travel as required;
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a sharp attention to detail and paperwork organization;
The ability to make cold calls if required, with or without staff members;
A detailed understanding of Caterpillar equipment and equipment systems, along with the rest of the Battlefield Equipment, Jobsite, and SITECH equipment lines;
A clean driver's abstract is mandatory;

Additional Qualifications

Proficiency/prior experience with Systematics would be considered an asset;
Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset.
