    Description

    Russel Metals is one of the largest metals distribution companies in North America, with a growing focus on value-added processing.


    It carries on business in three segments:
    metals service centers, energy field stores and steel distributors.

    Its network of metals service centers carries an extensive line of metal products in a wide range of sizes, shapes and specifications, including carbon hot rolled and cold finished steel, pipe and tubular products, stainless steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous specialty metals.

    Its energy field stores carry a specialized product line focused on the needs of energy industry customers.

    Its steel distributors operations act as master distributors selling steel in large volumes to other steel service centers and large equipment manufacturers mainly on an "as is" basis.

    Bonuses Russel Metals Inc. is currently seeking an individual for the position of Warehouse Person in our Nisku, AB location.

    Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Safely and accurately assemble orders
    Filling stock shelves
    Maintain work area in a safe condition
    Loading tables
    May perform other activities such as assisting in inventory
    Participate in clean-up and pre-inspection of equipment Requirements: Education: High School Diploma
    Work Experience: 0 – 3 years related experience


    MUST HAVE:

    OVERHEAD CRANE EXPERIENCE
    Must be able to work flexible hours
    Product knowledge and customer service an asset
    Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
    Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
    Flexibility to work shift work
    Physically capable to perform duties related to a physically demanding role
    Must be able to carry and move product and/or supplies in excess of 50lbs

    Hourly Rate:
