The salary range for this position is:
Recruitment range: $67,040 - $73,911 starting salary determined by the PEA Collective Agreement.
Performance range: starting salary to a max of $87,175 available through annual performance increases.
Job Summary
Mandate:
Within the Division of Student Affairs, Wellness, Recreation, and Athletics, our department offers high-performance varsity sport programs, competitive intramural and sport clubs, as well as a variety of recreation, health, and wellness programs. We strive for excellence in sport, health, and customer service to positively impact student success on campus.
Objectives:
The Inclusion and Wellness Coordinator works closely with the Director of Recreation, Marketing, and Engagement to develop and implement inclusive and accessible programming for the UVic and Greater Victoria Area community. This role involves collaboration to create tailored recreation and wellness programs that meet diverse participant needs and foster relationships both internally and externally to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Job Requirements
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
