The opportunity


We are looking for a talented game producer to take on creating fun, educational and engaging content, including games, apps, and activities with a multidiscipline team for TVO learn.

You will be responsible for ensuring that creative ideas become reality by working with a team of game and platform developers, educators, designers, and product managers.


You collaborate daily with a cross-functional team in leading the development of new game ideas and support the evolution of TVO games as part of our new strategic direction.

TVO is committed to an innovation-led future. We develop products and platforms meant to elevate the industry.


Key Responsibilities
As a Game Producer you will

  • Attend and participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for web content, games and apps.
  • Be involved in multiple interactive projects from concept to release, including old and new ideas
  • Work closely with design, art, technology, product management, product delivery, and QA teams to turn ideas into reality
  • Prioritize, schedule, and track tasks to ensure the team's work is delivered on time
  • Champion TVO's game vision and ensure that our experiences meet the highest standards in the industry
  • Support and contribute to the optimization the crossfunctional team's agile workflow, organization, and daytoday operations
  • Promote a team culture of collaboration, empathy, morale, and engagement
  • Strategize and organize in partnership with the Product Manager playtests, player feedback, and metrics to gain insights and guide the team's work
  • Make recommendations and determine game functionality/game concepts based on their expertise.
  • Communicating goals and risks of project in conjunction with project teams

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in a game design, game production, or digital production environment
  • College or University graduate (or equivalent experience) in communications, Digital Media, or any related field Experience working specifically on children's content with a focus on gaming experiences
  • Experience and knowledge in developing children's content that includes the creation of characters, treatments, and storylines for games, promotional areas, and other online experiences.
  • Expert knowledge of game production and agile development fundamentals
  • Exceptional personal drive to take initiative and deliver results
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly document processes and techniques
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills and proper grammar usage, specifically when targeting kids 212 years of age
  • Excellent presentation skills coupled with the ability to articulate concepts to clients and internal teams
  • Collaborative spirit and love of teamwork
  • Experience with audio editing is an asset
