Reporting to the Packaging and Warehouse Manager, the incumbent is responsible for bottle preparation, filling, and packaging duties at Seastar Chemicals ULC.

This is a full-time job at 37.5 hours a week, shift start time can range from 6am-8am.

DEPARTMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow Seastar's safety protocols.
  • Perform daily bottle preparation, filling, and packaging functions.
  • Daily cleaning, sanitizing, set up and maintain filling, packaging and warehouse areas and equipment.
  • Submit accurate records of filling and packaging work performed to the department Team Lead

PRODUCTIVITY

  • Responsible for participating in achieving department's operational and service targets.
  • Other activities as determined by the Packaging and Warehouse Manager.
  • Performs job responsibilities in a manner consistent with and supportive of the company's values.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Familiarize yourself with and follow all procedures and SOPs related to the filling, packaging and warehousing functions at Seastar.
  • Participate in any required training on the proper use and care of filling, packaging and warehouse related equipment.
  • Provide coverage for other Packaging Technicians and Warehouseperson when necessary.
  • Keep accurate records

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


Education:

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.


Experience:


1-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility but this is not mandatory as we provide onsite training.


Other Skills:

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE:
Reports to production Team lead


WORKING CONDITIONS:
The working conditions are typical of a warehouse environment with occasional noise, ambient temperatures and dust.
